24.02.2004 STOLA WILL INTRODUCE A LUXURY LIMOUSINE BASED AROUND A STRETCHED LANCIA THESIS IN GENEVA

Italian design & technology house, Stola, will introduce a super luxury Limousine, based around a stretched Lancia Thesis, at next week's Geneva Motor Show.

Built to celebrate their 85th anniversary, Stola recently built a stylish Fiat based 'Barchetta' sportscar concept. This new study will be known as the Stola S85 and they believe it will form a strong showcase for their talent in creating high quality and individual show cars and conversions.

Stola have taken the Lancia Thesis executive saloon and stretched it by 600mm, making the S85 almost 5.5 metres in length. It is being targeted as a smaller and more cost effective option to the giant German Maybach, its pretensions emphasised by the two tone paint finish.

The redesigned rear interior features two fully adjustable armchairs, a wooden floor and panelling, along with the use of high quality leather furnishings.
