11.04.2005 Fiat Croma Accessories

With truck loads of shiny new Fiat Croma’s getting ready to go on their way to the showrooms, full details have emerged on the accessories that will be offered on this elegant and functional new model.

A full array of extra’s are available, covering cosmetic upgrades to practical add-ons, allowing clients to build up a truly personalized package. Many of these accessories have already been previewed at the Geneva motorshow, including the 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Stylish aluminium coloured roof racks allow for the transport of bulky objects, whilst two varieties of ski holder extensions can be plugged on for three or four pairs of skis.

To fully exploit the usable space of the Croma’s door pockets, specially designed colour coded zip-up bags are available which allow for collections of smaller objects to be stored and retrieved easier.

For motorists who have a liking for fresh air, Fiat offer custom engineered wind deflectors for the front side windows, which allow for a flow of fresh air without the annoyance of wind turbulence entering the interior.

Inner-city drivers will appreciate the option of black plastic bumper protection strips, similar in style to those that were standard on the original Alfa Romeo 156. Hard wearing black protection strips are also offered for side protection.

Stylish polished aluminium plates offer an elegant form of protection for both the front and rear door sills, with the former being inscribed with Croma text. For those with an eye to detail touches, foot mats can also be ordered with Croma logos. Functional rubber mats are also offered.

Fiat have even considered wheel-arch flaps, which are ideal for those who drive over muddy, or stone covered tracks, offering not only protection from dirt, but also chip damage to the rear bumper.

Dog owners can opt for the purpose built separation grid, which is located just behind the rear headrests. Four different boot nets are also offered, ideal for strapping down fragile loose objects, and storing bundles of items.

Those who keep their cars in garages even have the possibility to purchase special Fiat Croma car covers, which are ideal for periods of extended car storage, preventing dust collection and reducing likelihood of general exterior damage.

Bluetooth communication facilities are also supported by the new Croma, with a special button that is mounted just to the left of the gear-lever, underneath the hazard warning light button.

Further accessories are also available, including baby seats, alarms, stylish exhaust tips, and parking sensors.
