As a futuristic new showroom is opened at Utrecht in Holland, Automobili Lamborghini has announced that will now be making a foray into the rapidly-growing Chinese car market. A new showroom, which is located in the City of Shanghai, will be inaugurated later this week said Dan Weikel, a US-based spokesman for the Italian sportscar maker, who also commented that the move into the Chinese market would help to balance out the recent "softer" sales the firm has been seeing in both Europe and North America. "Recent research has proven that China is the next best area for high-end vehicle growth and for that reason Lamborghini has chosen to open a dealership in Shanghai," he added. Lamborghini's decision follows in the footsteps of its Italian rivals, Ferrari and Maserati, who have recently targeted the wealth of opportunities that China - now the world's fastest growing car market - has to offer prestige carmakers.

Meanwhile, a new and exclusive Lamborghini showroom has just been inaugurated in Utrecht (Holland), the ceremony taking place on the 4th November.
