The Segal and Barbosa crew guided the Scuderia Ferrari of
Washington GT-class Maserati Trofeo Light to a superb
fifth place in the testing Grand American Rolex Sportscar
Series 6 Hours of Mt Tremblant, in Canada yesterday. Heavy
rain fell for four of the six hours of the race, influencing the
outcome.
The Trofeo Light did not take part in the last race at Laguna
Seca in order to prepare properly for this event. The tactic
paid off as the car held the lead in the GT class for more than
an hour and was in the top five throughout. It was a solid
performance and one that bodes well for the rest of the
championship. |
