In 2003 he was part of the driver line-up responsible for
securing the 24 Hours of Le Mans GTS-class and Le Mans 1,000
Km race victories in a Ferrari 550 Maranello.  In 2004,
Davies secured the title of joint LMES Champion, driving in
the LM P1 class.  He was also the quickest man around the Le
Mans circuit during last year's 24 hour race, eventually
					finishing second.

Rafael Calafell, Sporting Director of the Vitaphone Racing
Team commented: "I am delighted to have Jamie on board for
the Spa 24 Hours, as he brings along a wealth of experience
in endurance races. I'm confident that the Vitaphone Racing
Team driver line up for Spa, with Michael Bartels, Timo
Scheider and Belgian Eric van de Poele in car number 9 and
Fabio Babini, Thomas Biagi and Jamie Davies in car number
10, will show its great potential at one of the most
					challenging races of its kind."

Jamie Davies: "I'm absolutely thrilled to have the
opportunity of racing the Maserati MC12 in Belgium with the
Vitaphone Racing Team this year.  Spa is a circuit I know
very well, having secured the LMES Championship there with
Johnny Herbert last year.  The combination of the Maserati
MC12, Pirelli tyres and a very talented group of people in
the Vitaphone Racing Team is inspiring.  I can't wait to get
to grips with the car and exploit its capabilities."
