As Ferrari North America showcases its all new F430 Challenge Car and street vehicles, including the F430 Spider convertible and 612 Scaglietti 2+2 luxury performance car, this week at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, the company proudly announces its participation in another Canadian experience - the opening of a factory authorised Ferrari North American Driving School in Mont Tremblant, Quebec.

Located at Le Circuit race track in Mont Tremblant, the Ferrari Driving Experience is the first of its kind in North America, and will provide its students the techniques and skills to help control and enjoy their cars (within their own abilities) in an environment where safety is always the top priority. Modelled on the Ferrari S.p.A. driving course in Italy which focuses on proper driving skills, the program also provides Ferrari owners the opportunity to experience the full technology of their cars on a closed circuit.

According to Marco Mattiacci, vice president of marketing for Ferrari North America, the Ferrari Driving Experience will be open seasonally from May - October and is created specifically for Ferrari owners. The program will be offered as an exclusive lifestyle package, including transportation to/from Montreal; lodging in the luxurious premier boutique hotel of Mont Tremblant - the Hotel Quintessence; welcome reception and dinners; as well as the 2-day driving program at the track, led by professional Ferrari instructors and utilising a fleet of 12 brand new Ferrari F430 vehicles. "Our customers have come to regard their ownership as a complete lifestyle experience," said Mattiacci.
 

"As the most exclusive brand in the world, we create unique opportunities for our owners to enjoy their Ferrari vehicles in the way our technology is made to be driven," he added. And that exclusivity goes beyond the company's limited volume, speaking even more toward the select programs in which customers can partake, among those the only owners' racing program sanctioned by Grand American and conducted on a worldwide basis, to annual rallies where owners can enjoy some of the most scenic, yet challenging, public roads in North America while staying in ultra luxury destinations.

The new Ferrari North America Driving Experience at Mont Tremblant will run from May until October, and reservations can be made through Ferrari North America; through an authorised Ferrari dealership; or through online booking at www.experienceferrari.com. The North America Driving School corresponds to the basic "Pilota Ferrari" course taking place in Fiorano, Italy. Ferrari S.p.A. has organized a series of different driving courses for more than ten years offering, after the basic course, a progressive series of steps leading up to a true racing course.
