The historic city boasts cultural many fine and significant attractions, with a strong emphasis on religious architecture: the best known points being the Main Church, the Buddhist Temple and the Muslim Mosque. From an architectural aspect - the international bridges, like Ponte Internacional da Amizade (Friendship) on the border with Paraguay and Ponte Internacional Tancredo Neves, on border with Argentina - stand out.
There are still many options for leisure in the Itaipu Lake. In the proximities is located the Weekend Fly, where visitors can have a trike flight over the lake (similar to a delta wing, but with a stronger engine), being possible to visualize Itaipu Dam, Furnas Substation, Ecomuseu, Buddhist Temple and bridge Ponte Internacional da Amizade.

The Argentine stretch of road between the Brazilian border and Posadas differed from the highways on which the cars had travelled on over the past few days where the road wound its way through the countryside. Now huddles of residences were sprinkled along the road. The climate was cooler and a storm accompanied the arrival of the 599 GTB Fioranos. Today the route continues through Argentina from Posadas to Saenz Pena.
