03.09.2006 Michael Schumacher Kart Center Joins THE Autodelta European Tour 2006

Autodelta are proud to announce that the Michael Schumacher Kart Center has joined as an Official Partner of the European Tour 2006. The Tour participants will visit the Kart Center in Kerpen, Germany for an exclusive track session at this world-class facility during day four of the pan-European Tour. The Michael Schumacher Kart Center is famous for regularly seeing the seven-time F1 World Champion in action on the circuit - he designed - during the winter F1 break, often with his brother and fellow Grand Prix racer, Ralf, and team members of Scuderia Ferrari.

The Autodelta Tour 2006 will visit the Kerpen facility during the morning of Monday 18th September (Day 4) after the overnight stay in Cologne, and prior to undertaking the main run of the third stage of the event (Cologne-Basel). The Tour will have private and exclusive use of the facility. ”We’re delighted to welcome the Michael Schumacher Kart Center on board as an official partner of the 2006 Tour,” says Autodelta Events Manager Andrew Smith. “This is quite simply an unrivalled go-karting facility, and the Tour participants will have exclusive use of the tracks. We also look forward to the start of a multi-year arrangement with this company which fits perfectly with the Autodelta philosophy of technical excellence, passion and of course driving thrills.”

MICHAEL SCHUMACHER KART CENTER

Autodelta have announced that the Michael Schumacher Kart Center has joined as an Official Partner of the 2006 European Tour.

In 1997 the Indoor Track of superb dimensions, 600 m in length and laid out on an area of 6,000 m2, was built to combine safety and driving fun for beginners and experienced kart drivers alike, in perfect harmony thanks to professional management and support. The professional handling of all safety, instruction and track layout aspects is based on Michael Schumacher's many years of experience. Meanwhile the Outdoor Track was constructed six years ago, on an area of 10,000 m2. A stretch of 710 m of asphalt, its relentlessly tight turns and long straight-aways guarantee head-to-head races. The floodlight system illuminating the outdoor track also provides perfect racing fun until the late night hours.

The facility is just the place for companies to create the right motivation for their employees - or a surprise for customers. The Michael Schumacher Kart & Event-Center is simply the ideal location for a company event. It also includes top-of-the-line conference facilities, excellent catering, and a comfortable sports bar.

Autodelta’s Jano Djelalian enthuses that: “We are all extremely honoured to be associated with one of the most famous drivers in Motor Racing and we look forward to a long and successful association with the Michael Schumacher Kart Center.”
