SELEX Communications a Finmeccanica owned company, has been selected by Scuderia Ferrari as an Official Supplier to develop and supply a secure solution for radio communications until the end of 2008. The agreement, part of the already existing multiyear cooperation between Finmeccanica and Ferrari, foresees the supply of a TETRA (Terrestrial Trucked Radio) standard customized system of digital radio communications, in order to guarantee secure communications between cars and box, and within the box itself.
