Pupils at Kelsall Community Primary School are learning in the ‘fast lane’ thanks to a generous donation of computer equipment from Mangoletsi Alfa Romeo. Children have been given 12 LCD flat screen monitors and a large quantity of keyboards and mice to update the school’s computer equipment. 

The UK’s largest and longest established Alfa Romeo dealership Mangoletsi handed over IT equipment to the school after it updated its computer system as part of a £500,000 refurbishment at the premises. Also in a bid to raise funds for Kelsall pre-school Mangoletsi has donated more flat screen monitors for the pre-school to sell at its summer fair.

Business Development Manager for Mangoletsi, Julian Stockton, said: “I noticed that the school was using the old style bulky CRT monitors in the classrooms. It seemed the perfect solution to donate our monitors when we had an IT upgrade across our company. The new flat screen monitors will give children a lot more space on desks and there will be at least one monitor in each classroom.”

Headteacher Stephen Williams said: “I am delighted with Mangoletsi’s generosity and the donation improves our pupils’ already excellent IT facilities, so it is greatly appreciated by everyone at the school.”
