At the Top Car TV 2008 Edition award, where Fiat Automobiles won four categories, the big winner was the Linea, the new Fiat sedan, which won in two categories: Best National Car between 1,001 and 1,600 cm³ and Best National Car over 1,600 cm³. With these recognitions Fiat Linea received its first awards in Brazil.

The launching, which has led Fiat Automóveis to the segment of medium sedans, completes Fiat’s current range of models, having now a full range of offers. Fiat Linea is the purest translation of the modernity and efficiency of a company committed to always offer the best.

As a Fiat world project, the new model has been developed to compete in several countries – meaning the internationalization of the company.  In Brazil, it has received special features desired by the market, with enhancement in technology and sophistication. The project has been idealized by the Engineering of Fiat in Brazil, along with Italy.

Traditionally, Fiat Automoveis listens to its customers during the development phase of a product. It has not been any differently with Linea. They wanted an elegant, upscale car with a remarkable and beautiful design. The Fiat Linea, with harmonious lines and refined interior, combines the best features of design and ergonomics. Also, Fiat Automobiles has not spared resources in offering a wide and efficient range of modern engines for the model. It has developed the new 1.9 16V Flex engine (that runs any mix of gasoline and ethanol) and brought the last generation T-Jet Engine, in a clear example of downsizing that combines small sizes, economy and high performance.

The new top of the line Fiat has come to be a market reference. Items such as the Blue&MeTMNAV with onboard GPS navigation system, Dualogic® gearbox, parking, rain and crepuscular sensors, up to six air bags, digital automatic air-conditioner make it a unique model in the market.

The Linea is a special car. It comprises technology and convenience items beyong sufficiency, in order to address the needs of the most demanding customers. It is offered in the market in four different versions, two new engines, two transmission types and three levels options. They are: 1.9 16V, 1.9 16V Dualogic, Absolute and T-Jet.

Linea Monte Bianco

Within a development based on Fiat accessory line, Linea Monte Bianco shows, in part, the personalizing option using only the Genuine Accessories developed by Fiat Automoveis. Those are items specially idealized for the model just launched in the Brazilian market. Painted in the special white pearl color, with blue pigments, Linea Monte Bianco is equipped with 17 inches of diameter Wheels that give an aspect of great sport look to the vehicle. Still in the outside, it received a Fiat aerodynamic kit – front spoiler, lateral mini-skirts, among others – and personalized door sills. The headlight lamps with black mask are blue vision and the strobe lamps are fume.

Besides the Fiat Genuine Accessories line, the Linea Monte Bianco interior, as well as the seats, received an ultra-leather and ultra-suede lining, always matching two shades of beige. A DVD player on the roof completes the items of comfort of the car.

Personalizing a model with Fiat Genuine Accessories provides extreme guarantee for clients since all the items have been specially developed for that specific model. The original characteristics of the car are preserved with fast and safe installation and guarantee is covered for one year. Every Fiat Genuine Accessory has a minimum of six month test at the engineering laboratories of the company. The engine is the same that furnishes the top version of Linea, the 1.4 T – Jet, with supercharger that develops 152 hp power at 5.500 rpm and 21.1 kgfm maximum torque between 2.250 to 4.500 rpm.
