Alfa Amore, the online community of hungarian Alfa Romeo owners is busy making the final preparations for its annual showpiece event, AlfaCity09, which this year will be held at Komárom, Fort Monostor on 18th April, 2009. Beside the many colourful programs of the day the organisers want to set a new Guinness World Record ™ as the "Largest parade of Alfa Romeo cars". More than 600 cars have been registered for AlfaCity09 in advance.

AlfaCity09 is the official season opening event for Alfa Amore, the biggest gathering of Alfa Romeos in Central-East Europe, and now taking place at a new location. Visitors will be able to see all the new Alfa Romeo models as well as old ones. Alfa Amore is an online community, a free meeting point for enthusiasts, established for more than five years. A virtual playground, where everybody can show off and live with their enthusiasm.

The club sticks to quality and traditions, so the season opening event always takes place in a very special place, which offers an imposing sight and enough space for the hundreds of Alfa Romeos that will turn up. This year's event, AlfaCity09, will be held at Fort Monostor, which gives the visitors and their Alfa Romeos an historic environment and picnic mood with its lush green grass.

This year’s programmes. Topicpoints: All the topics of Alfa Amore become real! The organisers will mark the places with a flag, where visitors can meet with the people who belong to the different topics, and a new game between the topicpoints is going to be held. The Plage: Rest for a while on the hill of the Fort, wherefrom the whole meeting is visible. Check how many Alfisti gathered, or just take a picture from the Alfa Romeos. Your comfort is guaranteed by the beanbags of blup.hu. Beauty contests: You can vote to the most beautiful cars with a little "Bella macchina" decal, just put it to the car which is the most beautiful. Rush: You’ll have the opportunity for a little "freestyle" tyre burning and for a rush too. Car exhibition: You can admire the glorious models of italian car manufacturing, not just Alfa Romeos. Moreover, you can meet with its owners too. Lasertag: The zigzag trench of the fort is a perfect place for a little team match. This game is available for you all day long and for free. Programs for children: You know it the best that the children’s attention has to be taken all day long. So we organize various programmes for them. The programs of the Fort: With the help of a professional travel guide, you can discover all the facts and legends of Fort Monostor. You can also visit museums, a stone storage from the roman era, and a military exhibition too.
