Melbourne Alfa Romeo dealer, Zagame Alfa Romeo, has taken the Australian 2009 Alfa Romeo Dealer of the Year Award, with Alfa Romeo dealers in Sydney and Brisbane also taking top prizes.

Melbourne Alfa Romeo dealer, Zagame Alfa Romeo, has taken the Australian 2009 Alfa Romeo Dealer of the Year Award, with Alfa Romeo dealers in Sydney and Brisbane also taking top prizes.

“Our awards are designed to lift the quality of customer service across all areas of dealership operations and throughout the country,” explains Edward Butler, General Manager for Alfa Romeo in Australia. “The fact that no one dealer dominates the individual awards, that they are spread geographically across our key markets and that the overall winner was decided by fractions of point clearly demonstrates that Alfa Romeo owners can experience new levels of customer service at every dealer.”

“But,” says Mr Butler,” there has to be an overall winner and this year it has gone to Zagame Alfa Romeo in Melbourne. “Although they took just one of the individual areas – service – their remarkable dealership-wide consistency ensured that they were are a top or near performer in all areas and this enabled them to take 2009 Alfa Romeo Dealer of the Year award.

Judging for the Alfa Romeo Dealer of the Year Award is a year-long process, with each dealer measured and evaluated continuously in all areas of their businesses, from the overall presentation of their business and the facilities it offers customers, through to the key areas of sales, service and parts. Customers from each dealership are also questioned, providing a scoring system that elects winners in each key area as well as an overall result:
