German Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari tuner Inden Design has focused its attention on the latter's F430 Coupé following a tried and trusted path beaten by many tuners in developing an all-round package that includes more power, lowered suspension and aesthetic changes both inside and out for Ferrari's key selling V8 model.

On the outside the F430 gets a unique profile thanks to a subtle restyling kit that has been added to the original Ferrari design Inden Design. At the front a pronounced flat horizontal lip has been attached underneath the front spoiler which blends into the original component through two rising sections attached at the outer corners of the centre spoiler section and then wraps up round the spoiler as the new section chases round to the front wheels. At the side a short kit section in front of the rear wheels wraps up round the original side skirts below the air intakes for the rear brakes while this lower rim lip theme is continued onto the rear spoiler corners and up to the splitter, with the changes wrought by Inden Design at the back completed by a new carbon-fibre colour coded section running through the base of the standard splitter.

Through a new engine remap the F430's power is raised by 35 bhp, from the Maranello-standard 490 bhp to 425 bhp, while a new stainless steel exhaust unit has a damper control that opens automatically in full acceleration situations but can also be manually overridden to allow the driver to adjust the exhaust sound.

Inden Design, which started tuning Ferrari's sports cars with the 348 and has since created styling and tuning parts for the 355, 456, 360 Modena, 550 Maranello, 575 M and 612 Scaglietti, has tweaked the suspension of the F430 with a lowering kit that reduces ride height by 36 mm which squeezes the coupés wheelarches around the new multi-spoked 20-inch three-part, modular structure, special schmiede alloy wheels that feature a lacquer finish of the star section in silver metallic while the interior dish is plastic-coated and the external dish is highly polished without coating, the format being drawn from the wheels used on the Porsche Carrera Cup racers. The wheels can be fitted with a shim set to widen each axle by 30 mm. Inside Inden Design has increased the use of sumptuous leather, focusing on every surface that it can rework, while carbon-fibre inserts can also be added to the package.
