Launched onto the Brazilian market less than three months ago, the C-segment Fiat Bravo can now be specified with a more sporty visual appearance with two new kits that are now available for ordering at Brazilian dealerships.

Launched onto the Brazilian market less than three months ago, the C-segment Fiat Bravo can now be specified with a more sporty visual appearance with two new kits that are now available for ordering at Brazilian dealerships.

The two new sports-styling packs kick off Kit Esportivo 1 which is available on the Bravo Essence and Bravo Essence Dualogic versions and comprises of colour-coded side skirts and rear spoiler as well as new 'sportivo' finish for the 16-inch alloy wheels (the Bravo Essence usually comes with 16-inch alloy wheels without the 'sportivo' finish). This kit costs R$860.00(US$ 511.90).

The second upgrade pack, Kit Esportivo 2, is available across the range in two steps: for the Bravo Essence it also comprises of side skirts and rear spoiler, but this time offers optional 17-inch 'sportivo' finished alloy wheel and costs R$ 2,621 (US$ 1,560.12), while for the Bravo Absolute - which already comes with 17-inch alloy wheels (without the 'Sportivo' finish it includes the side skirts, rear spoiler and the wheels now with the 'sportivo' finish; it costs R$ 860 (US$ 511.90).

Also Model Year 2011 Bravos in Brazil now come with new silver painted alloy wheels, 16-inch on the Essence versions and 17-inch on the Absolute level. The new kits are now available in the Brazilian dealers and points-of-sale which number 500 across the country.

The Bravo - which is being built at Fiat Automóveis' Betim factory in the first time the five door hatchback has been assembled outside of Italy - was launched on the Brazilian market at the end of November with a choice of two engine options: the locally-built 1.8 16V E.torQ (formally the defunct BMW/Chrysler joint venture 'Tritec' engine) fitted with mechanical transmission or Dualogic, and the imported-from-Italy 1.4 T-Jet equipped with a 6-speed transmission – and in three versions – Essence, Absolute and T-Jet – all well equipped, including up to seven airbags – two frontal, two front sides, two for the protection of occupants’ heads, besides one for protection of the driver’s knees, Dual Drive electric steering, fog lights with cornering system, NAV Radio, Xenon headlights, front parking sensor, folding external rearview mirrors and a new Skydome sunroof.
