For this edition of Fenatran, the theme for Fiat’s spacious area is focused on logistics and versatility. To show off these characteristics, all 22 vehicles are being displayed on a map simulating a large metropolis throughout the area. Within this context, the brand is exploring the efficiency of its commercial vehicles in terms of versatility, practicality, technology and innovation.

Visitors can to take a closer look at the variety of commercial vehicles from the brand aim at Brazil's major urban centers, where the traffic of heavy commercial vehicles is restricted. Models such as Ducato, Doblò, Fiorino and the pick-up Strada can transport large volumes of cargo in traffic-intense urban centers and can contribute to better traffic flow. They also offer improved fuel savings, agility and practicality to customers when compared to heavy commercial vehicles.

With this theme in mind, Fiat is also highlighting the cost of ownership provided by its commercial vehicles, since the models on show it believes present the best ratio in the market for four key components (cost of acquisition, cost of operation, cost of maintenance, and resale value). Several factors contribute to this result, such as: the engines feature new technologies and good performance along with with lower consumption and reduced emission levels; the largest service network in the segment, with more than 570 service points in Brazil, all equipped with specific tools and original parts and personnel trained by Fiat; and 24-hour assistance via Confiat, which provides aid anywhere in the Brazilian territory.

At the event, one of the Fiat Automóveis models to get a prominent position and which is now arriving on the market is the high-roof Fiat Doblò Teto Alto. From the base version of the Doblò Adventure, the vehicle had its roof elevated, received an access ramp for wheelchairs and is now part of the Program for Inclusion to Mobility. The requirements of transporting people with special needs is one of the points being reinforced by Fiat on this year’s Fenatran.

The new Uno Furgão concept also gets the star treatment. The sales success of the new passenger-carrying Uno has led Fiat Automóveis to envision a concept model targeted at the commercial transport segment. The concept aims to prove the versatility of this model’s platform, showing that it can meet widely differing requirements, and can also be an efficient vehicle for transporting volumes and services.

Fiat has a full range of commercial vehicles on show that cater for different types of services, whether targeted at cargo or passenger transportation, such as the Ducato, Strada, Doblò Cargo, Fiorino Furgão and the new Uno Furgão concept. The brand also partners with outfitters (Rontam, Technobras, Cavenaghi, Green Car, Revescap, Alltech and Grupo Euro) who assemble homologated special niche use vehicles and several examples are being exhibited at this fair including the Ducato Ambulância (ambulance), Ducato Executivo (executive), Doblò Cargo Teto Alto Pet Shop, Strada Working CE with Sugar-Alcohol Kit, and Doblò Autonomy Taxi.

Fiat LCV Range @ Fenatran

The Fiorino Furgão offers practicality, agility, an excellent cost/benefit ratio and a wide capacity in terms of cargo transportation. The Fire 1.3 8V Flex engine is under the bonnet and comes with low consumption levels. Its application possibilities are diversified and meet needs from small shop owners to big fleet managers. With the Fiat Code system, also available across most Fiat models in Brazil, it offers safety to its owners. The cargo compartment, with capacity for 3,200 liters, allows rational arrangement of volumes from different shapes and sizes. The Uno Furgão is the brand's LCV entry-level model and offers a luggage compartment that allows for the rational arrangement of volumes and tool boxes. The compartment’s flat floor allows for maximum use of space, facilitating the adaptation of equipment, cabinets or workbenches. An additional advantage is the presence of the spare tyre in the engine compartment, clearing space for luggage. Leading the segment reserved for large vans in the Brazilian market for the last eight years, the Ducato family is showing off its versatility at Fenatran this week with its all its eight versions available for inspection: four for cargo carrying, three for passengers, as well as the version used as a basis for conversions: Cargo 7.5 m³, Cargo L 9.0 m³, Maxi Cargo 10 m³ and Maxi Cargo 12 m³, Combinato (09+01 passengers plus luggage area), Minibus (15+01 passengers, plus luggage area), Minibus Teto Alto (15+01 passengers, plus luggage area), as well as the Multi Teto Alto version. Meanwhile Brazil's top-selling LCV, the Strada, is being shown in its broad depth of versions: Fire (standard and extended cab), Working (standard, extended and double cab), Trekking (standard and extended cab), and Adventure (extended and double cab). The pick-up thus offers a wide variety of alternatives between space in the cab or the bed, which allows customers to select the best option for their use of the vehicle. With standard cab, the Strada offers the possibility of transporting a volume of 1,100 liters on its load bed. If the selection is the extended cab, it may transport 800 liters, if the double cab is selected, the consumer will have available 580 liters of space in the luggage compartment. The pick-up comes with the option of the 1.4 Flex or E.torQ 1.8 16V Flex engines.
