This Stars ‘n Stripes racing weekend is not just about Formula 1 for Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. Before driving their F2012s, as the top level of motorsport returned to the USA, the two Scuderia Ferrari drivers took part in a teaser campaign for the official North American launch of the Fi 500 Abarth Cabrio, which will take place at the forthcoming Los Angeles Auto Show. The clip can be seen as from today on-line and will also be shown on the giant screens around the Circuit of the Americas, the venue for the nineteenth and penultimate round of the 2012 World Championship. Felipe and Fernando were filmed for the video in the past few days at a circuit on the outskirts of the Texan capital: for both of them it was a chance to enjoy themselves prior to an important weekend in terms of the outcome of the championship, while having fun on track in the latest creation from the Scorpion marque.
