The
recently previewed special series Lancia Delta S by
MomoDesign, which renews a previous partnership between
the two Italian companies, is now available in the
Italian dealerships.
Intended for a male
metropolitan customer looking for a distinctive style,
the new version tries to enhance the almost forgotten
Delta hatchback and give it some much needed attention by proposing a number of aesthetic and chromatic
features that reflect the stylistic concepts of products designed by
MomoDesign Centro Stile, ranging
from helmets, watches, eyewear and shoes to luggage.
This new
trim level will be available with the range's high
specification diesel and petrol engines. In terms of the
former it comes with the 190 HP 1.9 Twin Turbo MultiJet
and the 120 HP 1.6 MultiJet, while the latter's offering
is made up of the 120 HP 1.4
Turbo Jet LPG, (the only Turbo LPG engine in its
category with a range of over
1,400 km) and also the trusty 120 HP 1.4 Turbo
Jet.
Prices start from
23,400 euros for the 120 HP 1.4 Turbo Jet version, then
go up to 25,400 euros for the 120 HP 1.4 Turbo Jet LPG
engine and reach 26,400 euros for the top of the range
versions equipped with the two MultiJet turbodiesel
engines: 190 HP 1.9 Twin Turbo MultiJet and 120 HP 1.6
MultiJet.
On the outside it is distinguished
by some aesthetic features: side skirts and bumper in
the same shade as the body, 'dark-chrome' finishes,
burnished headlights, 18" rims finished with dark shadow
treatment, twin chrome exhaust pipe and gloss black
tailgate. There is also a special 'S' logo.
In addition on the
new Delta S by MomoDesign two new colours are making
their début - the metallic Antracite Grey and Antracite
Grey/Eclissi Black two-tone - that will be added to the
available colours for this new version: Zenit White,
Magma Black and the Zenit White/Eclissi Black two-tone.
Inside
there is a gloss black central console, speedometer with
yellow shades and special sporty leather and fabric
seats with blue stitching (the same also found on the
steering wheel, gear lever gaiter, handbrake lever and
door panels).
It will
also come with a decent level of standard equipment,
including cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate
control, electrically operated mirrors, leather steering
wheel with music controls and front armrest.
