Alfa Romeo's Stelvio Quadrifoglio, the new high performance version of the D-segment SUV, has made its Asian premiere at Auto China 2018, which is currently taking place at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

The first "Quadrifoglio" badged Alfa Romeo to also be an SUV type vehicle, the new Stelvio Quadrifoglio’s arrival also marks the full availability of the two-member Quadrifoglio family in China.
 
Apart from the Stelvio Quadrifoglio's debut, Alfa Romeo is also presenting three other production models on its booth, a second base version of the Stelvio and two Giulia variants, Including the sedan's range topping Quadrifoglio option.

The second Stelvio on show is equipped with the 2.0-litre 4-cyl Turbo engine (which comes with 200 HP or 280 HP) and eight-speed transmission.

The first Giulia on the booth at Auto China 2018 also has the all-aluminum 2.0-litre 4-cyl engine and eight-speed transmission.

The second version of the D-segment sedan is the Giulia Quadrifoglio, the high-performance option with 510 hp and peak torque of 600 Nm from the 2.9-litre V6 Bi-Turbo engine and eight-speed transmission that gives it quoted performance figures of 3.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 km/h and a top speed of 307 km/h.

The Giulia Quadrifoglio can also lay claim the title of the fastest production sports sedan in the world, thanks to a recent lap time at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in an impressive 7 minutes and 32 seconds.

Topping off the compact display of the four production models in Beijing is a Sauber C37-Ferrari showcar finished in red and white Alfa Romeo livery to denote the return to Formula 1 this year after an absence of almost three decades by the Milanese brand, this time its back in grands prix as the title sponsor of the Swiss-based Sauber F1 Team.

Auto China 2018 runs until 4 May.
