ITALDESIGN ZEROUNO DUERTA 2018

Italdesign will be taking part at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which gets underway this morning, showcasing its latest creation the utra-limited production “Zerouno Duerta” coupé supercar four months after its world debut in Geneva

Italdesign will showcase its latest creation, the utra-limited production “Zerouno Duerta” coupé supercar just four months after its world debut in Geneva at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, which gets underway this morning.

It will be the second new product from the Italian design house in action over the four days as the "Nissan GT-R50 by Italdesign" prototype will also receive its world premiere during the "Festival of Speed".

The "Duerta" is the second project badged by Automobili Speciali, Italdesign's new in-house brand for ultra-limited series production and it received its world-premiere four months ago during the Geneva Motor Show.

Featuring a modular carbon-fibre and aluminium chassis, it’s a redesign of the Zerouno coupé version with all carbon-fibre bodywork including a removable carbon hardtop.

It has the same performance as the coupé version too as it comes with the Lamborghini Huracan's naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 engine with 610 hp that’s good for a top speed over 320 km/h while special packages will be available by Italdesign for custom finish and performance.

Created last year and premiered at the Geneva Motor Show, Automobili Speciali is the new Italdesign brand associated with the production of exclusive ultra-low series cars intended for collectors.

The Zerouno Duerta represents phase two in the VW Group-owned Italian design house's plan and just like the coupé version, the Duerta will be produced in only five units with the car in Goodwood representing one fifth of that exclusive production run.

Zerouno Duerta will be displayed inside Italdesign's paddock, in the Michelin Supercar Paddock Area and will take part to the eight “Supercar Run Demonstration Runs” during the event which gets underway today (Thursday) and runs over four days until Sunday.
