11.09.2003  FERRARI UNVEIL THEIR 575GTC SPORTSCAR IN FRANKFURT


Ferrari have unveiled their 575GTC sportscar at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Based on their 575M road car, this race version, developed by N-Technology, the Fiat Group's competition department, will be sold to customers for use in the European FIA GT Championship as well as being homologated for the American Le Mans Series (ALMS).

The first customer versions have just been delivered to FIA GT stalwats, JMB Racing, who will run at least one car at Estoril next month, replacing the in-house developed 550's they have run so far this season. Meanwhile Bobby Rahal is talking to Ferrari about running a pair of the new 575GTC's in next years ALMS series.
