AUTODELTA EUROPEAN TOUR 2006

10.09.2006 Mangoletsi will take part in the Autodelta EUROPEAN Tour 2006 as both a participant and as a partner

Mangoletsi, the UK’s largest and longest-established authorised Alfa Romeo dealership, are pleased to announce that they will be joining the Autodelta European Tour 2006 as an event partner – and as a full participant. Mangoletsi will take part in the Tour, which starts on September 15, with a vehicle which will carry the firm’s famous ‘arching M’ designation alongside the Tour’s official 2006 livery, as the cavalcade of exotic cars races across Europe.

The participation of Mangoletsi on the Autodelta European Tour 2006 also symbolises a growing new partnership between Autodelta, Europe’s foremost aftermarket Alfa Romeo design and tuning concern, and the UK’s largest authorised Alfa Romeo dealership. Mangoletsi - recently-appointed official supplier of new Alfa Romeo cars to Autodelta for testing and development purposes - is based in Knutsford, Cheshire.

“We are pleased to be able announce that we will be joining the Autodelta European Tour 2006,” comments Fraser Hudson, Managing Director of Mangoletsi (Holdings) Ltd. “This is the most exciting pan-European motoring event this year involving the Alfa Romeo brand, so it seems quite logical for us to enter a car under the Mangoletsi name. With our sales division reaching well beyond our geographical location, and our parts operation also focusing Europe-wide, we expect to be able to meet up with a numbers of customers – and friends – along the route.”

This is an exciting time for Mangoletsi, the UK’s largest authorised privately-owned Alfa Romeo dealership – which is in fact celebrating its 40th anniversary as an authorised dealer with the Italian brand this year.

ALFA 159 LAUNCH MANGOLETSI

Knutsford-based Mangoletsi is the country’s largest, and longest-established, authorised Alfa Romeo and Fiat dealership.

Mangoletsi are pleased to announce that they will be joining the “Autodelta European Tour 2006” as an event partner – and as a full participant.

With the recent arrival of the new breed of Alfa Romeo models  (the Alfa 159, 159 Sportwagon, Brera and Spider) giving fresh impetus to the historic sporting brand:  “Without doubt, 2006 represents a major new opportunity for Mangoletsi, with an unprecedented number of exciting new Alfa Romeo models rolling out on the European market,” adds Fraser, who is justifiably proud of the firm’s reputation for unrivalled customer service. “It’s certainly been our busiest year so far and the public has very quickly embraced these remarkable new models. The potential to re-launch the brand in the wider public eye in the UK is being offered by this new era, and it is a challenge that we are grasping with both hands.”

“It’s been a hectic year for us so far,” says Mangoletsi Sales Executive Craig Aspin. “The Alfa 159 and Brera have been in strong demand from our established customers, many of whom have been waiting very impatiently for this new generation of models to arrive. At the same time, we have had unprecedented interest from potential new customers and certainly our test drive fleet is in constant use. The events of this year will tie-in very nicely with this new event and we are looking forward to the opportunity of using the Tour to further promote the Mangoletsi brand name at this time.”
