EQUIPMENT, OPTIONS AND COLOURS

Customers can choose between two versions. Both offer great value for money and correspond to two different ways of appreciating and using a car: the Fiat Panda 4x4 and Fiat Panda 4x4 Climbing.

On the one hand, one of the most attractively-priced vehicles on the market, the Panda 4x4 that offers as standard: driver's airbag, ABS, Dualdrive power steering, adjustable steering wheel, special cloth, rear wiper and 14" wheels with 165/70 tyres.

The Panda 4x4 Climbing specification offers all this equipment plus: central locking, electric power windows, double front airbag, roof bars, black base and side strips, special bumpers and grille painted the same colour as the body, special trim fabrics, 14" wheels with 185/65 tyres.

This specification may optionally be complemented by a headlight washer system for a higher level of preventive safety even during off-road vehicle use.

The high pressure supplied by the headlight washer pump (greater than 4 bars) allows the jet emerging from both sprays to clean 80% of the external lens surface.

The Panda 4x4 accessory range was designed by the Fiat Style Centre and developed in conjunction with the new model. It offers all customers, even the most demanding, the opportunity to choose between two different solutions that suit the car perfectly and emphasise its attributes.

These accessories emphasise the model's practicality and versatility while also meeting the functional and emotional needs of any customer. Here are some of the numerous possibilities of customising your Panda 4x4 to your own tastes.

Those who seek out-and-out sports customisation can choose a kit including sideskirts and a spoiler on the tailgate. It is also possible to order a 14" light alloy wheel trim combined with 165/70 tyres (on the Panda 4X4 version) and 185/65 (on the Panda 4x4 Climbing). Inside, lovers of a sporty drive may order an aluminium pedal unit with rubber insert for a safer, more comfortable drive in addition to a leather steering wheel and gear knob in two colours: grey/blue or grey/black.

Other items offer a stylish, comfortable addition to the interior specifications. They can be chosen in accordance with personal tastes and needs. Other features include up-to-the-minute turbulence deflectors and mats in rubber or carpet. Not forgetting that the New Panda Accessory range also offers practical items that can be used to make the most of interior space. For this purpose, we have created nets in various shapes and sizes to be secured in the boot and under the load compartment parcel rack. One net that divides the luggage compartment from the rest of the passenger compartment, for example, is ideal for carrying your pets in safety. You can also order a convenient tray that protects the load compartment and allows you to load any items or materials with peace of mind.

Other accessories cater for leisure use, such as stylish transverse roof bars. These aluminium bars fasten to the roof rails and can be used to carry bicycle holders, surfboard holders and ski holders. All versions also come with a provision for bolting conventional bars directly onto the roof.

A huge array of child seats (built for various ages and weights) also allows you to carry the smallest passengers in safety. Because the Panda 4x4 is equipped with special Isofix attachments, you can also fit a special Kiddy Isofix seat for children up to 18 kg. The Accessory range also offers various types of antitheft device from a conventional system to the satellite system that is the most sophisticated of all car protection devices.

The wide range of accessories available for the new 4x4 version is rounded out by parking sensors and a hand-held navigation system with 6.5" touch screen. This sophisticated device is based on the Windows CE operating system with automotive HMI complete with resident maps on compact flash, in addition to all applications created for PDAs. The hand-held navigation system also uses its standard interfaces including USB ports.
