Fiat Auto proudly presents
the world premiere of its revised Fiat Strada Pick Up. The model features
a more up-to-date, attractive design and for the first time can be equipped
with the lively yet reliable 80 bhp 1.9 JTD engine. It also offers versions
with a long cabin.
The New Strada is produced
in the FIASA plant in Betim (Brazil) and follows in the footsteps of a
vehicle that already leads the South American light transport market (with
sales of 25,000 every year) and the small pick-up sector in Italy (3600
sold in 2002).
New Fiat Strada customers
have specific practical needs (transport of loads in all shapes, sizes
and heights) and are aware of comfort, style and also service costs. They
are also looking for an eclectic, multipurpose vehicle that meets their
needs in and out of work. The new vehicle does this by combining all the
benefits of a car (agility, driving ease, comfort, attractive style and
power) with the sturdiness of a light commercial vehicle with a payload
of more than 700 kg (including the driver). Yet the Fiat Strada is also
satisfying to drive and ideal for leisure time. |
